During a red-ish carpet interview with the Hollywood Report, Jordan Peele stated he will strongly consider making a sequel to his surprise 2017 hit Get Out. Peele notes that he feels there are more stories to be told in that world and there are a few loose ends he would like to tie up.

I know what you are thinking: should he risk messing with what some consider a modern-day cinematic masterpiece? History has proven that making sequels to critically acclaimed movies is a dicey prospect (see: Jaws 2… or not… actually let’s go with not. You’ll thank me later) but with the wave of momentum Peele is still currently riding, he may prove to once again be the exception to the rule. Peele is currently developing a new project for Blumhouse Productions set to be released in 2019. It isn’t out of the realm of possibility that the new project may connect to the Get Out Universe, that’s just speculation at this point.
